Membership & Training Costs

Membership fees
Annual membership £111.50 and includes:

  • Ducks membership
  • BSAC membership and card (£57.50 adults and £29.50 concession for under 16s & students)
  • weekly use of the pool
  • worldwide third party liability insurance
  • monthly SCUBA magazine delivered to home (worth £48 pa)

The membership year runs from 1st February. Mid-year joiners pay a pro-rated fee. In addition there is an abated membership (fee reduction) for one person where couples join.

Snorkelers are most welcome and can join the club at a reduced rate of £72.50

If you’re already qualified under another agency and don’t require further training, then you’re more than welcome to join us, subject to you signing a medical declaration, showing us your proof of qualifications and having liability insurance in place. Fees for ADSAC membership only are £65 for divers and £54 for non-divers per year.

** Air fills will be provided for 6 pool lessons. The student will incur expenses when they travel to open water sites.  These may include entrance fees, hire of exposure suit and other equipment and all air fills on the day.  A minimum of 6 open water dives are required over 3 days. In addition to complete the course the student will undertake a sea dive.  This will be done in conjunction with club trip to the coast.  On this trip the student will complete their first dive as an Ocean Diver.

*** There are 5 open water dives under instruction. The student is liable for all expenses incurred.
